All recipes are our own intellectual property (IP), made from scratch and have formulated for the Zimbabwean palate.
Real Ingredients
We avoid the artificial. Our Tomato sauce – and most of our range – uses REAL tomato paste. None of that fake stuff.

We’re vegetarian-friendly. Our range doesn’t contain any red meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea (such as crab or lobster).

No electricity. No problem. Our sauces can be kept in a cool, dry place – like a cupboard – rather than the fridge. Even after opening.

Our food scientist has a great understanding of the five basic tastes (sweet, sour, bitter, salty and umami), so we’re smart about the total sugar content of our products.
Visible Nutritional Info
We won’t tell you that our sauces are healthier than most other products on the shelf – we’ll show you. All of the nutritional info, ingredients, and any potential allergens are all clearly visible on the packaging.

Our premises, production, and processes are all tested and compliant with the Standards Association of Zimbabwe.

Certification
All of the products produced by Efoods under the Mr. Sauce and Mr. Sachet brands are Halaal Certified by Jamiat-Ul-Ulama Zimbabwe.
Product Testing
Product testing, for various parameters, is carried out regularly, through either the Standards Association of Zimbabwe or the Government Laboratories. This ensures that our products conform to all regulations and standards.
Returns
If a product does not meet the standard, as defined by law, or by our parameters, or if there is clear manufacturer fault, we will replace a customer’s stock free of charge.

Over the years we have supplied our sachets and sauces to the major players in the fast food industry, such as Simbisa Holdings (formally Innscor) and Chicken Slice.
