At eFoods we take pride in our roots and are driven by a collective passion for food and a deep-seated belief in the potential of our nation. We aim to be a brand that makes Zimbabwe proud we need a dedicated team of passionate people. Here’s a sneak peak at a few of the faces behind Efoods and the household brands you’ve come to know and love: Mr. Sauce and Mr. Sachet.

The eFoods Story
2000
Mr. Sachet was born
We got a taste for the fast food & catering industries by packing single-serve condiments in sachet form for the likes of Chicken Inn, Nando’s and others.
2012
Along comes Mr. Sauce
The company diversified and incorporated a bulk (5l) manufacturing division, and began cooking up a range of homemade sauces under the Mr Sauce brand.
2017
Mr. Sauce retail launch
Expanding on the bulk success (creating 1l & 2l variations), we were soon dressing up for retail in 375ml presentations) to supply the major retailers and wholesalers.
2019
Mr Sauce in Zambia
We waved goodbye to 24,528 bottles of Zimbabwe’s finest homegrown sauces as they traveled a 495km journey to Lusaka, after listing with one of the continent’s biggest retailers – Shoprite.
Distribution Partners
The retail distribution of Mr. Sauce and Mr. Sachet is handled by Route to Market under their distribution brand: Exclusive Brands.
Whilst we devote our time and efforts in our area of expertise - food processing and manufacturing - we entrust our amazing partners with the "route to plate": getting our sauces and sachets into kitchens around the country, and beyond!
