Christmas Ham

– 1.5kg ham
– Enough water to cover the ham
– Carrots roughly chopped 2
– Medium onion 1
– Bay Leaf 1
– Peppercorns 5

Cover ham in fresh water, add carrots, onions, bay leaves, and peppercorns. Allow at least 40 – 45 minutes of cooking time per kg.
You may need to top up the water during the process.
Allow the ham to cool completely in the stock water before removing the rind.
Preheat your oven to 180ºC .
Score the ham with a sharp knife.

– Mr. Sauce Mustard Sauce ½ cup
– Old Fashioned Brown Sugar 1 cup
– Honey ¼ cup
– Apple Juice ¼ cup
– Mix glaze ingredients together

Brush glaze generously over the ham and dot pineapple chunks on the ham, then place in the oven. After 5 minutes, remove the ham from the oven and glaze again. Repeat twice or until glaze is finished.
